About The Veg Collective
The Veg Collective is a group of local growers who are passionate about providing homegrown, healthy produce to the community. Our growers, including Rock Farm, Creeve Cottage, and AJ’s Farmshop, all live and work within 15 miles of each other. By coming together, we are able to offer a wide variety of fresh, seasonal vegetables for others to enjoy.
Our Weekly Seasonal Veg Box
At The Veg Collective, we take pride in delivering freshly picked and sorted produce. Our weekly seasonal veg box is prepared on the same day at AJ’s Farm Shop, ensuring that you receive the highest quality vegetables.
As growers who work in harmony with nature, our selection of produce is subject to seasonal change. Each week, our veg box will include a variety of vegetables that are at their peak freshness and flavor. For example, a typical summer box may include:
- 2kg of potatoes
- 1 punnet of tender cherry tomatoes
- 1 bunch of onions or shallots
- 1 cucumber or courgette
- 1 bunch of carrots
- 1 pot-plant herb
By offering a diverse range of vegetables, we aim to inspire creativity in the kitchen and provide you with the ingredients for delicious and nutritious meals.
Collection Points
Our veg boxes can be conveniently collected from AJ’s Farm Shop located at 3 Moss Road, Ballymaguigan, Magherafelt. We also have other local collection points available.
Collection is available from Friday 11am to Saturday 4pm, giving you plenty of time to pick up your box and start enjoying your fresh, locally grown produce.
