Welcome to The Veg Collective
The Veg Collective is a group of local growers who are passionate about providing fresh, homegrown, and healthy produce to our community. We are a close-knit group of growers, all located within a 15-mile radius of each other. Our growers include Rock Farm, Creeve Cottage, and AJ’s Farmshop.
One of the ways we bring our produce to the community is through our weekly seasonal veg box. Each week, our growers carefully handpick the freshest vegetables, which are then sorted on the same day at AJ’s Farm Shop. We believe in working with nature, so our selection of produce is subject to seasonal changes. This ensures that you receive the best and most flavourful vegetables that are in season.
Our Weekly SeasonaA typical summer veg box from The Veg Collective includes:
- 2kg of potatoes
- 1 punnet of tender cherry tomatoes
- 1 bunch of onions or shallots
- 1 cucumber or courgette
- 1 cabbage / kale
- 1 bunch of carrots
- 1 crunchy lettuce head
- 1 pot-plant herb
These vegetables are all grown locally by our dedicated growers and are guaranteed to be fresh and delicious.
Collection Points
If you’re interested in getting your hands on one of our veg boxes, you can collect them from AJ’s Farm Shop, located at 3 Moss Road, Ballymaguigan, Magherafelt. We also have other local collection points available.
The collection times for our veg boxes are from Friday 11am to Saturday 4pm. This gives you plenty of time to pick up your box and start enjoying the goodness of our homegrown produce.
